Your learning resources
To succeed in your studies, you must engage with the resources provided through your online learning platforms. This is so you’ll know what is expected of you, especially when taking exams and submitting coursework assignments. Key resources include:
- Your Student / Course Handbook
- Your Course Specification
- Module Information Directory
Online platforms
The University uses several online learning and teaching platforms such as Aula, Learnosity and Futurelearn (this list is not exhaustive). Your module leader will let you know which platform is being used for each module.
Your online module spaces are crucial, and you must incorporate Aula into your learning routine. It includes:
- Essential module information
- Learning materials and resources
- Assessment details and briefs
- Coursework submission tools
- Online tests and assessments.
Each module leader may use the platform differently, so it’s important to stay flexible and check regularly.
Please note: Online platforms complement face-to-face teaching. They are not a substitute for attending classes. Please see the attendance pages.
