International fee paying students

Once you’ve accepted our offer, look out for our follow-up email – this one takes you to our dedicated student enrolment portal and will walk you through the enrolment process step-by-step.

You’ll then be given access (to the email address you registered with) to your learning materials so you can engage with these before you even arrive in the UK!

You will also be asked what date you expect to arrive in the UK. It’s important you arrive in the UK as soon as your visa allows you to, this will allow you time to settle into your new home, get to know the campus and start to make friends.

You will need your eVisa as well as your admissions and travel documents, all the original documents specified in your CAS letter, your ATAS certificate (if your course requires one) and a formal letter issued by the body or institution that awarded your qualifications, in order to complete your Right to Study check.

Every student who is not a British National, will need a right to study check. Please log into your enrolment portal (Login) and complete the Right to Study Check section. Once you have done this, you will either get an email asking for more information or an email confirming your check is completed.

You should complete this as soon as possible after you arrive in the UK and you must complete it before the teaching start date to be ready for your course to start.

If you have not travelled to the UK, completed your check and enrolled by the enrolment closure date at the top of this page, you will not be able to enrol.

Your Coventry University email account allows you to:

• Access online platforms such as Aula, SOLAR, and the Student Portal.
• Connect to the university wi-fi and log in to campus PCs.
• Receive important university communications (after enrolment, most communications will be sent to this account).
• Demonstrate your student status for discounts with certain retailers.

How to register:
During enrolment, you will have been invited to create your Coventry University email account (sometimes called your ITS account). If you already have one, you do not need to register again. You must be fully enrolled to register. You’ll also need your Student ID. Follow the steps on the Digital Services registration page to get your username, email address, and set your password.

Tip: You can set up your Coventry University email on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

Using your account:

• Your username is the part before the “@” in your email address.
• Some systems require your username; others require your full email address.
• Your password will be the same for both.
• If you forget it, you can reset your University Digital Services password.

No student ID? No student loan, no access to your accommodation, facilities and services, no important news and updates, no discounts, no fun – it’s that simple.

After you’ve completed your enrolment, you can collect your student ID in person.

All students must provide proof of identity and nationality to get a student ID card.

In order to verify your identity, you’ll need to bring the documentation listed in our accepted proof of identity and nationality document.

Online only or distance students: you will not need a student ID card unless you want to access campus facilities and services.

There may be times when you need to prove your status as a student, e.g. opening a bank account - you can generate a student status letter by logging into the Student Portal or via the Wayfinder app.
