How to Apply
If you’ve chosen the course that you feel is right for you the next step is to make your application.
CU Scarborough ensure that all applications are managed according to the nationally agreed framework and appropriate standards.
We typically require:
|Foundation Year||40 UCAS tariff points|
|Higher National Certificate (HNC)||64 UCAS tariff points|
|Higher National Diploma (HND)||80 UCAS tariff points|
|BA/BEng/BSc (Hons) degree||104 UCAS tariff points|
|5 GCSEs at grade A-C including mathematics and English are required for all courses.|
Applicants who do not fulfil the above entry criteria will be considered on an individual basis, taking into account other factors.
If you’re interested in a full-time course your application must be submitted via UCAS.
Once you’ve registered you can start the application process you will need;
- Our unique institution code: C85
- Campus code: 6
- The code for your preferred course (this can be found on the course pages on our website)
For part-time study you can apply to us by filling in our online application form.
We understand that not everyone fits easily into this national framework, particularly if you already have professional work experience. If you’d like to discuss with us what your qualifications and/or experience allow you to study, please contact email@example.com.
Access to HE
Formal qualifications are not mandatory for entry. Assessment will be via a 30 minute discussion and a short numeracy and literacy test.
For applicants whose first language is not English, we will require an English language competence by completing a successful Secure English Language Test (SELT) with a minimum score of 6.0 or an equivalent level 2 qualification.
