Open Days

Open Days

Come and visit us on Saturday 14th August to get a real feel for what it would be like to study at CU Scarborough, as we throw open our doors to show you around our campus.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet our teaching staff and our academic community to find out more about our courses and ask any questions you have. You’ll also be able to find out more about the application process and the support we can offer such as the library, Students’ Union and student support.

So, if you’re still researching which is the right university for you or even if you’ve already accepted an offer with us, we would love to welcome you to experience life on our campus. Please register for our open day using the links below.

Virtual open event

We are holding a virtual open event on Tuesday 3 August (join us any time between 4pm and 7pm) that will feature live webinars about what Clearing involves, along with supporting content about our campuses, accommodation and student support plus a live chat feature so you can get answers to any questions you may have.

Covid Safety

We want to make sure that your visit to campus is a safe, secure and enjoyable.

So we're advising everyone to follow the most up to date UK Government advice about travelling during the pandemic. This includes making sure that there is plenty of ventilation wherever you are, only travelling on public transport during quieter times and on less busy routes, and avoiding mixing too many households or people in a private vehicle. Please make sure that you check any specific restrictions about travelling to campus before you leave home.

We'd also remind you about the continued value of washing hands, using facemasks and maintaining good social distancing when you are travelling to campus or have arrived here.

Disclaimer

We look forward to welcoming you to our Open Day, the date of which is still to be determined. We hope this Open Day will go ahead so that you can come and see what CU Scarborough has to offer but the Open Day is subject to government guidance and restrictions. We are preparing for the Open Day and recommend you register before arriving, but we will update this page if anything changes and/or the Open Day cannot go ahead. Please do continue to check this webpage for updates.

Your safety and wellbeing remains our primary concern and our approach continues to be built on government guidance. Upon entering CU Scarborough, you assume all risk associated with Covid-19. You also agree to:

  • abide by all government guidance aimed at preventing the transmission of Covid-19 in place at the time; and

You must not attend the Open Day if you believe that you may have been infected with Covid-19. Failure to comply with these measures shall entitle us to request that you leave the event.

Campus appointments

We are pleased to be able to offer a series of 1-2-1 campus appointments with one of our recruitment specialists, which will be held under COVID-19 pandemic restriction guidelines. These appointments will enable you to talk to our team, have your questions answered and see our campus and facilities. Places are limited so please using the relevant booking form to secure your place.

Please note that face coverings are required whilst in our campus buildings and we strongly encourage visitors to take a rapid lateral flow test within 3 days prior to visiting our campuses.
