The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) at Coventry University enables employers to develop first class leadership talent as apprentices gain a BA Honours Management and Leadership academic qualification.

This apprenticeship also develops the skills, experience, knowledge and behaviours required to achieve a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Diploma in Management and Leadership professional qualification and accreditation and full Chartered Manager status with the designator letters ‘CMgr’.

The programme is equally suitable for new employees and existing members of staff new to a role. It is designed to build the learner’s ability to manage people, projects, operations and/or services.

There is no upper age limit but all applicants must be over the age of 18.

The course

Course delivery is by a variety of methods in 12 modules over 4 years. Learners are assessed at the end of each module. The programme is flexible and timeframes may be adapted to suit the needs of the business and employees. The Nationwide Apprenticeship University team builds the programme with the organisation, tailoring the content to the specific needs of the learner and the employer, ensuring that business objectives are met. Tutors are experienced industry professionals who are enthusiastic in sharing their knowledge and helping learners to achieve excellence. There are no examinations as learning is assessed by a range of different methods in real work situations, including presentations, reporting, individual and group assignments.
