- A local approach: A local approach to initial teacher training (ITT) utilising NITE's knowledge and specialist alliance/MAT in the local area.
- Professional development for your staff: ITT mentoring roles provide growth opportunities for experienced teachers, enhancing leadership skills and career progression.
- Leadership development opportunities: We offer career development programmes that prepare the next generation of school leaders, helping you strengthen your leadership team and build capacity for the future.
- Influence training and course design: As a partner, your feedback helps us shape and improve our programmes, ensuring they stay relevant, practical, and responsive to the real needs of schools.

Our partners
We’re delighted to be working with NITE. At Get Into Uni we’re passionate about helping people access higher education and progress into meaningful, rewarding careers, so NITE’s flexible and innovative approach to teacher training really stood out to us.
Their commitment to widening access to the teaching profession, while providing high-quality training that works around learners’ circumstances, closely aligns with our own values. From our first conversations with Matt and the team, they’ve been incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and genuinely focused on creating a partnership that puts prospective teachers first.
We’re excited to work together and help more aspiring teachers take that next step towards a career in education.
James Taylor, Business Development Director, Get Into Uni, 2026
I have found NITE’s approach to initial teacher training to be collaborative, solution-focused and flexible with partnership being the cornerstone of their planning and delivery.
NITE offer teacher training opportunities in a broad range of subject specialisms, facilitated through digital platforms which allow them to be conveniently accessed throughout the UK and beyond. Their experienced mentoring team ensure that trainee teachers feel well-supported in their studies.
Working with an assigned account manager fosters a personal approach to partnership and allows Lead Partners to feel instrumental in shaping the direction of ITT initiatives.
Claire Amed, Learning and Development Manager, Creative Education Trust, 2025
The trust as an organisation has been working with NITE for many years. We use NITE to facilitate our apprenticeships across the Trust. The course is really flexible in terms of when the tutorials happen and the platforms that trainees use to access learning. And I know they really appreciate the support they get from their tutors and their visiting tutors that come out.
At any point, if there are any queries, I have a host of people that I can e-mail and they're just so, so informative, so knowledgeable, come back really promptly, which is really appreciated. I can’t recommend NITE highly enough.
Hannah Burnett, Strategic Lead for Teacher Development, Insignis, 2025
With Coventry University’s high-quality standards and global reach, we wanted to provide school teachers and other professionals in countries where CASS Europe has a presence with the opportunity to earn the NITE–Coventry University iPGCE and iQTS, a globally recognised and highly regarded teaching qualification.
Sam Dzever, President, CASS Europe, 2026
At Engage Education, we're proud to be working with NITE (National Institute of Teaching and Education), part of Coventry University group. Working with NITE gives us a powerful extra string to our bow, a direct, high-quality teacher-training route for schools who don't already have a SCITT or ITT relationship in place.
What excites us most is how naturally this fits into our Graduate Programme. Graduates who join us as Learning Mentors or through our Engage Teaching Assistant Programme (ETAP) gain real, hands-on school experience first, then, when they're ready, we can transition them straight onto the NITE teacher training programme. For schools, that means the opportunity to grow their own teachers from within, building loyalty and continuity rather than starting from scratch with recruitment each time.
With three start points each year, in September, January, and April, and a pathway to QTS in just one academic year, NITE gives schools a genuine, practical answer to the recruitment and retention pressures they're facing. We're excited to keep growing this relationship and helping more schools turn their own graduates into their next generation of teachers.
David Evans, Director of Education, Engage Education, 2026
Teacher Pathways is thrilled to partner with the National Institute of Teaching and Education (NITE). Our decision to work together stems from a shared, uncompromising commitment to excellence in educator development. NITE’s reputation for delivering high-quality, flexible, and globally recognised training perfectly complements our mission at Teacher Pathways to nurture the next generation of outstanding teachers and school leaders. By combining NITE’s academic rigour with our expert support, we are uniquely positioned to empower educators and elevate classroom outcomes.
Joanna de Beer, Director, Teacher Pathways, 2026
Communication and support from the team at NITE has been excellent. We have an account manager who is readily available to answer any questions and provide important updates and the NITE team provide very useful documentation regarding key dates and DBS and Safeguarding checklists which are incredibly useful.
Training for our mentors has also been timely, organised and well received by our staff who found it accessible, easy to understand and clear in terms of exactly what was expected of them when mentoring a ITT trainee.
It has been great working with NITE so far and it was especially reassuring that they were keen to meet us in person at our HQ, introduce themselves and their roles, and offer further PD opportunities for our staff.
