ITT Visiting Assessors – Primary and Secondary (all subjects)

This is an exciting opportunity to join NITE as a Visiting Assessor supporting our school-based trainee teachers and students on teaching pathways.
We welcome applications from serving and former teachers, school leaders, and freelance education consultants who are available during term time to undertake both in-person and online visits.
We are expanding our pool of assessors across Primary, Secondary and SEND specialisms in the UK and internationally. We are particularly seeking expressions of interest from:
- International Primary, Secondary and SEND specialists, especially those based in Northern Ireland, Ireland, Europe, the USA and Southeast Asia. However, applications from all international locations are welcome.
- SEND specialists in England (all areas).
- Primary and Secondary specialists in England in the following areas:
- Devon and Cornwall
- West Sussex
- London
- Berkshire
- Cheshire and Greater Manchester
- Yorkshire
- The Midlands (including Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Birmingham, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire)
The number of assessment visits varies depending on your availability and trainee locations.
About the role
Assessors will need to have experience of observing teaching and learning, making accurate judgements about teaching quality, quality assurance in education, and providing constructive feedback to support trainee development.
