Bespoke Beam Design Software- Company Information

BBDS offers unique computational software for designing fabric formed concrete beams, which are based on the loading regimes applied on them (Bespoke). The fabric-forming design seeks to make available to structural and architecture firms a unique and original design method to concrete structure, which, aims to reduce both material usage and embodied energy.

The constructability is critical, thus the offering also entails a computational package and a web-based tool to allow users to create and design and conceive of unique low-carbon-footprint concrete elements based on their use.

Alireza says:

"I chose Coventry University London because of its long track record of industry-leading insight, its wide-range of MBA programmes and excellent location.

Coventry University London highly invests in self-development of students by providing a unique High Flyer programme for students who want to enhance their academic experience and improve their employment prospects. I have developed self-awareness and networking skills by attending presentations by industry professionals and participating in various networking events.

I was involved in developing a business plan which entailed the creation of an engineering design firm delivering a differentiated solution to construction sustainability. Through self-dedication and having attended various meetings with the Head of Business Development, I was able to pitch my final project to an assessment panel from the Coventry University Institute of Applied Entrepreneurship (IAE).

The assessment team was extremely supportive and helped me at every stage of my business idea from the early development stages to market research, operational and financial planning".
