What is the Coventry University Group?
Coventry University gained its university status in 1992. Since then it has worked tirelessly to become a global enterprise, establishing multiple campuses and initiatives across the world.
As part of the Coventry University Group offering, CU Scarborough, CU London and CU Coventry offer more vocationally based courses, with flexible learning options and no end of year exams, with the aim of providing a high quality learning solution, while also allowing students to fit studying around their busy lifestyles. In addition to this they also offer lower tuition fees to other comparable institutes helping to make higher education affordable.
All locations offer higher education qualifications, which are accredited by Coventry University. This means all students graduate with a Coventry University award, wherever they choose to study.
Each location operates separately, though application processes remain similar, available courses and entry criteria may differ. Please contact the location you are interested in for full details.
Movement between our locations is possible, but can be subject to successful application.
In addition to our CU offering, the Coventry University Group also provides study options at Coventry University and Coventry University London but not all of our locations offer the same courses.
The CU offering
CU London
CU London offers two campuses in the capital. Our Dagenham campus opened to students in September 2017, and our Greenwich campus opened in Autumn 2020. Based in the heart of Dagenham, CU London is bringing award-winning education to a London audience from two supportive learning environments.
CU Coventry
Initially launched in September 2012 under the name 'Coventry University College'. CU Coventry rebranded in January 2017 to complete CU's current tri-campus offering. Due to the student orientated approach the offshoot of Coventry University quickly became a viable choice for students who were looking for an alternative to mainstream higher education.
CU Scarborough
Situated in an iconic seaside town CU Scarborough opened in 2015 as 'Coventry University Scarborough Campus'. In September 2016 we successfully moved into a £14m state-of-the-art campus and became CU Scarborough. The Scarborough location was purposely selected to allow Coventry University to deliver cost effective higher education to students in the North-East.
