Travelling to CU London (North Greenwich)

Our CU London (North Greenwich) campus is located in the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula. It is easily accessible by road, rail and bus and is just a 3-minute walk from North Greenwich tube station and the Jubilee line.

How to find us

  • North Greenwich station is on the Jubilee Line in Zones 2 and 3. 20 minutes from Central London and 10 minutes from Stratford.

    Take the Jubilee Line and alight at North Greenwich Tube Station. Travel either eastbound towards Stratford or westbound towards central London. Mitre Passage is just a 3 minute walk away.

  • From North Greenwich Underground Station

    You can no longer pay with cash on buses.

    • The 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472 or 486 all stop at this station.
    • Bus 188 is a 24 hour service direct to and from central London via Waterloo.

  • 6 Mitre Passage is inside the M25 and outside the Congestion Zone. Take signs for the O2 from the M25, A2/A20 from South East and M11 from North.

    Use our Mitre Passage postcode 'SE10 0ER' for any route planners. Parking is not available on campus, however there is paid parking nearby.

  • North Greenwich underground station taxi rank operates 24 hours a day, every day. The station is a 3 minute walk from Mitre Passage.

    All of the iconic London Black Taxis are wheelchair accessible and accept credit cards.

  • Train to North Greenwich

    • Edinburgh - approx 5hrs 15mins
    • Liverpool - approx 3hrs 20mins
    • Manchester - approx 3hrs 10mins
    • Birmingham - approx 2hr 15mins

    National Rail

    North Greenwich station is on the Jubilee Line in Zones 2 and 3. See the Underground tab for more details.

    Local National Rail transport includes:

    • Greenwich Station - 15-20 mins by taxi or bus from 6 Mitre Passage.
    • Charlton Station - 15-20 mins by taxi or bus from 6 Mitre Passage.

  • The Stagecoach Express between Kent and London stops beside North Greenwich Underground Station. It runs every hour, 7 days a week, for fares as low as £6. Includes free Wifi and charge points.

    The M2 route has pick-up points at Hempstead Valley, Chatham Bus Station and Chatham Maritime.

  • Travelling from Heathrow Airport

    Trains offer the quickest link between Heathrow and central London. There are two services to choose from: Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect.

    • Express - 15 minutes
    • Connect - 31 to 49 minutes

    National Express and other operators run coach services from Heathrow to more than 500 destinations across the UK. For timetables see nationalexpress.com

    Heathrow has three London Underground stations – one for Terminals 2 and 3 and one each at Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. All stations are in Travelcard Zone 6.

    Travelling from Gatwick Airport

    Gatwick Express is the fastest rail link to central London. Non-stop trains run to and from Victoria Station in London every 15 minutes. Journey time 35 minutes.

    There are two main options of reaching central London via bus; EasyBus and National Express. EasyBus offers a low-cost frequent airport transfer service non-stop from London and Gatwick with prices starting at £2. For timetables see nationalexpress.com and easybus.com
