Free transfer from London Heathrow Airport

To support your arrival, the CU London Accommodation Team has teamed up with National Express coaches to provide you with a free transfer from London Heathrow to London Victoria Coach Station in January 2026.

Travelling from Gatwick Airport

Train	Gatwick Express: The fastest rail link to central London. Non-stop trains run to multiple stops in London every 15 minutes. How to Book: Purchase tickets on the Gatwick Express website. Thameslink: Another train option that offers services to multiple stops including London Bridge, Blackfriars, and St Pancras International. How to Book: Check the Thameslink website for fares and schedules.	Gatwick Express: 35 minutes Thameslink: 30-60 minutes (depending on destination)
Coach	There are two main options of reaching central London via bus: EasyBus and National Express. Offers a low-cost frequent airport transfer service non-stop from Gatwick station to London Stratford Station. How to Book: For timetables and booking, visit National Express and EasyBus.	Variable, check timetables
Taxi/Rideshare	Direct service to your accommodation. Cost varies based on time and location. How to Book: Use services like Uber Bolt, which offer online booking	Typically 1 hour (depending on traffic)

Stratford to CU London Dagenham

By Train (c2c)

Route: Take the Jubilee line from Stratford to West Ham. From West Ham, take the c2c train to Dagenham Dock station. From Dagenham Dock, it's a short bus ride or a walk to CU London Dagenham.
Travel Time: Approximately 20-30 minutes for the train journey, plus additional time for the bus/walk.
Cost: £3 to £5 for the c2c train journey, plus potential additional costs for the bus.
Frequency: c2c trains run approximately every 10-15 minutes.

By Bus

Route: Take bus 364 or 366 from Stratford Bus Station to Dagenham Heathway Station. Then, transfer to bus 145 or 175 towards Ilford, getting off at Rainham Road South near CU London Dagenham.
Travel Time: Approximately 60-75 minutes.
Cost: £1.75 (Oyster/contactless fare) per journey, capped at £5.25 for unlimited bus travel in one day.

By Tube and Bus

Route: Take the District line from Stratford to Barking Station, then take a bus (145, 287, or 5) to Dagenham campus.
Travel Time: Approximately 50-60 minutes.
Cost: £2.80-£3.50 (off-peak/peak) for the tube and £1.75 for the bus fare.

By Taxi/Uber/Bolt

Cost: Approximately £20-£30, depending on traffic and time of day.
Travel Time: Approximately 25-35 minutes.
