Physiotherapy Integrated Degree Apprenticeship (BSc)

This apprenticeship has been co-created with healthcare stakeholders to provide a stimulating programme which is highly applicable to the workplace and that prepares learners for work as a Physiotherapist in a variety of settings.

The programme aligns with Skills England Physiotherapist apprenticeship standards and successful graduates are eligible to apply for registration with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Course overview

This apprenticeship is designed for individuals looking to become registered physiotherapists while continuing to work in healthcare settings and typically takes 3-years to complete. Developed in collaboration with healthcare stakeholders, the course combines academic study with practical, work-based learning to prepare apprentices for a rewarding career in a wide range of settings including acute hospital, community, primary care, integrated care, out-patient, sport and exercise settings. The programme supports apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for modern physiotherapy practice and benefit from interdisciplinary learning and clinical placements.

Subject to meeting HCPC requirements, successful completion of this apprenticeship enables apprentices to apply for registration with the HCPC Physiotherapist. Graduates may also be eligible to apply for membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
