Course overview
This 3-year apprenticeship is for individuals interested in pursuing a career as an occupational therapist. The curriculum has been designed and developed in collaboration with employers of occupational therapists across a variety of different sectors and is designed to build upon your existing knowledge, skills and behaviours to support careers in clinical and non-clinical workplaces such as acute hospitals, community settings, social care, public health, industry, teaching and research.
Apprentices who successfully complete the occupational therapist degree apprenticeship are eligible to apply for registration as an occupational therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Learners may also be eligible to apply for membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT), subject to meeting the criteria.

How apprentices learn:
Study Blocks: 6 blocks of 7 weeks per year
