This flexible, school-based initial teacher training course is designed to equip you with the skills needed to provide inclusive education. It emphasises support for learners with diverse needs through specialised strategies, practical experience and guidance from experienced practitioners.

Course details

The course offers two theoretical modules of study and three Professional Practice modules, enabling you to put pedagogy into practice and problem-solve in the classroom.

Entry requirements

Applicants must:

  • hold an undergraduate degree, or equivalent as assessed by UK ENIC
  • hold a GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in maths and English, and for trainees teaching children aged 5-11, primary, hold a standard equivalent to a GCSE Grade 4 in a science subject
  • have secured a school willing to host you as your main placement school.
