Teacher training in international schools
Our PGCE for International Schools is a formal teacher training qualification. It is designed for unqualified teachers or teachers, working in schools outside the UK.
The PGCE for International Schools is a school-based course, which is delivered wholly online. University tutors also visit students in their schools to observe teaching, provide feedback and assess progress. Students are able to attend our optional Educational Conferences in the UK.
We have a high number of potential teachers in touch with us, who have expressed an interest in teaching abroad. This means we can help international schools with teacher recruitment by sourcing and training new teachers to fill school vacancies.
If you wish to gain some introductory knowledge and skills before undertaking Initial Teacher Training, we offer online short-courses called PreTeach and PreTeach Skill-Builders.
