Artificial Intelligence is increasingly shaping educational practice, influencing how lessons are planned, how pupils access learning, and how schools approach assessment, inclusion, safeguarding, and communication.
While AI offers opportunities to support personalised learning, accessibility, and teacher workload, it also raises important questions around ethics, safeguarding, critical thinking, misinformation, and professional judgement.
This lunchtime professional discussion will bring together a panel of education professionals from NITE to explore how AI is already impacting education settings and what this means for the future of teaching and learning. The session aims to encourage reflective and balanced discussion rather than promoting a purely positive or negative view of AI.
Participants are welcome to contribute to the discussion through chat and questions or attend as observers.
