Marie Rafter
Senior Administrative Officer (Finance & Administration Team)
Marie joined the National Institute of Teaching and Education in February 2021 and worked alongside NITE’s Office Manager, Angie Duckett as a Senior Administrative Officer (Finance and Administration). She assists with looking after all things office and finance related.
Prior to joining NITE, Marie had a long career in the travel industry. Upon leaving school she worked as a retail travel consultant for a number of years. She then moved on to arranging travel for some well-known house-hold names within the Entertainment industry, which was at times demanding but also a lot of fun. Marie’s last few years in travel were spent looking after corporate clients from a number of different sectors. As a result of the pandemic and the effect it had on the travel industry, Marie made the decision to transfer her skills and to seek pastures new and she found herself joining the world of Higher Education.
