Tyrone is a fully qualified teacher with over 17 years’ experience working in mainstream schools and colleges, specialist SEND college and higher education settings. His professional teaching background is in the Social Sciences which includes sociology, psychology and health studies.

Tyrone is committed to supporting and developing students to breakdown educational barriers so that they are then able to learn. Prior to joining Coventry University, he was Assistant Head of College (Senior Leader) in a specialist SEND College in Somerset. In addition to this role, he also works as a Senior Lecturer in Education and ACP Liasion Manager at Oxford Brookes University.
