An Nguyen is a full-time lecturer in the Department of Management and Human Resource at Coventry University London Campus.

An Nguyen's teaching and research interests revolve around three key areas: the internationalisation of higher education, graduate employability, and human resource and leadership development. She has gained considerable expertise in these fields through her extensive work experience and industry connections with various organisations.

Prior to joining Coventry University London, An Nguyen taught and supervised students’ dissertations at University of Glasgow and designed e-learning materials at UCL Institute of Education. She also worked at corporations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), educational technology companies (ed-tech), and universities in India, China, Vietnam, and the UK.

An Nguyen possesses expertise in mixed-methods research, with a strong background in quantitative approaches such as online surveys, learning analytics, and statistical analyses. She is also skilled in qualitative methods such as observations, interviews, focus groups, and systematic reviews. In addition, she is proficient in computer-assisted techniques, including text-mining, topic modelling, and social network analysis.

Research and Consultancy

Tata Consultancy Service, Mumbai and Jamshedpur, India (2018): As a research consultant, I delivered a quality assurance and excellence training program for Tata Consultancy Services. The program aimed to provide leadership and management development training for individuals involved in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility practices in Tata Education program. I tailored the program to address the specific challenges and requirements of the participants and their organisational environment.

Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam (2019): I worked with the Ministry of Education and Training in Vietnam to deliver training for teachers and educators on how to leverage educational technologies in teaching the national curriculum.

Confucius Institute for Business London, UK (December 2021): I designed and planned international conferences and workshops on cross-cultural communication and Chinese culture. The program focused on helping professionals understand and navigate the complexities of Chinese business culture.
