Dr Sanjana Nagpal, CFA has been part of Coventry University London since 2021. She began her academic career as a Lecturer in Finance and later assumed the role of Course Director for the MSc Economics, Banking, and Finance programme.
She leads several postgraduate modules, including Equity and Fixed Income Valuation, Portfolio Management, and Global Financial Markets & Ethics. Sanjana is passionate about teaching and integrates real-world scenarios into her sessions by incorporating platforms such as Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ.
With over six years of teaching experience, she has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at institutions including Brunel University and Anglia Ruskin University. Sanjana completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degree from the University of Greenwich and completed her Doctorate at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She is also a CFA Charterholder.

Research and Consultancy
My Research interests include Time series analysis and Factor modelling. Sanjana is currently working on a research paper testing the Adaptive market hypothesis among ESG and conventional indices.
