Dr Gisele Arruda

Dr. Gisele Arruda is an interdiciplinary researcher with expertise in sustainability, climate change adaptation (global commons and macroeconomy), natural resources, energy and socio-technical systems and environmental management, geostrategy and research methods. She has experience in the sustainable energy sector having worked for MNCs, in Europe and the US; government and US universities. She researches in Strategy & Leaderhip, Climate change adaptation, natural resources management, Energy and Socio-technical systems, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility. She has a full professorship (2006) in global commons, she supervises PhD students. She is a Senior Fellow member of UK AdvanceHE, a member of the UArctic and other professional organisations worldwide.She has a track record of publications and is frequently invited as keynote speaker at international and national conferences.

Current research interests include climate change adaptation, natural resources management, sustainability, socio-technical systems, Sustainable energy systems, Strategy and leadership and CSR. She designs and delivers courses and executive training.
