Graduation

Graduation

The Graduation Award Ceremony is the official celebration of your academic achievement. At this time your award will be presented to you and your family and friends will have the opportunity to share in the recognition of your success.

Graduation is a formal ceremony which will take place at Guildhall London in the City of London.

Only students who have completed their full course of studies, passed all their assessments, and discharged all financial responsibilities to Coventry University London by the specified dates are eligible to attend Graduation.

October and November graduation ceremonies

Earlier this year we made a difficult decision to cancel our graduation ceremonies due to COVID-19 restrictions. Graduation is a very special time for staff and students alike, and this decision was not taken lightly. With restrictions still in place, we are sad to announce that our October 2020 and November 2020 graduation ceremonies will also not be able to take place.

We have arranged for awards to be conferred ‘in absentia’ and your certificate will be posted to you. This means that you will be able to confirm with employers, or other universities (if you intend to continue your studies) that you have successfully completed your studies with us and have been awarded your qualification. Please ensure that your correspondence address is up-to-date and accurate by logging into Solar so that your certificate is delivered to the correct address.

Celebrating your academic achievements with your family and loved ones means a great deal to us and we are currently exploring options to hold a virtual celebration event to mark your special achievement. We will release more information about this as soon as we are able.

We will continue to update you with further information, but if you have any questions in the meantime please should email: graduation.reg@coventry.ac.uk.
