There are three main ways to apply to CU Scarborough. We’ll cover these below.

Applying through UCAS

If you're a UK school leaver applying for a full-time undergraduate course, this is your route.

Our full-time undergraduate courses include:

• Higher National Certificates (HNC)
• Higher National Diplomas (HND)
• Honour’s degrees (BA (Hons), BSc (Hons) and degrees with foundation year)
• Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQ).

Applying through direct application

If you live in the UK and want to apply for a full-time undergraduate course but not through UCAS, you can apply directly with us by completing a form.

There are several reasons you might decide to apply through this route:

• You’ve missed the UCAS deadline.
• You’re over 21 and have been out of education for a while.
• You have qualifications that are not easily recognised by UCAS.

To discuss your eligibility in more detail, get in touch with our admissions team. They will assess your qualifications and experience. If you meet the criteria, we will send you a form to complete. You must then return the completed form to us to formally accept your place.

Applying online through our application portal

There are several reasons you might need to apply through this route:

• You’re an international student interested in studying with us.

What are the international application deadlines?

We offer several intakes throughout the year. So, if you miss the deadline for one intake you may be able to apply to join us for a future intake instead. You can see how many intakes our courses have on their individual course pages. You can find out the application deadlines for the next intake on the international application hub. Please note that these are deadlines, and we encourage all students to apply well in advance of these. This is to make sure you have enough time to gather all necessary information and apply for your student visa.
