You do not need to be in the UK to begin the enrolment process. We advise that you begin enrolling as soon as you receive the email and your link. You can complete the personal detail section and confirm your course, at which point you will be given access to Aula and you can access your course materials.

We strongly recommend you travel to the UK as soon as your student visa is issued to you. If you require a Right to Study Check, you may not be able to complete enrolment until this has taken place. Please check the web pages to confirm if this check needs to take place in person.

Our emails will be sent to the email address you have used on your application. If you believe you have met all the conditions of your offer and have not yet received your enrolment link via email, please contact us.

For returning students, the link will be sent to your university email account. Please check your spam folder.

If you have missed your enrolment you may be able to be deferred to a later intake, if appropriate.  Please contact engagement@coventry.ac.uk who can advise you.

For those students who are eligible, they can submit an appeal (EEA) to be permitted to enrol within the appeal window. The appeal window runs from the Tuesday after enrolment closes until 5pm on the Friday of that same week.

To be eligible to appeal you must meet the following criteria:

• You must have arrived in UK before the enrolment deadline (where applicable, as stated on CAS or enrolment pages)
• completed your RTS check before the enrolment deadline (where applicable)
• evidence that payments is in University accounts by the enrolment deadline (not just paid to Convera)
• evidence that there has been a technical/University error blocking enrolment, during the enrolment window
• submit a request within the EEA window
• Provide evidence of mitigating circumstances if any of above not met.

If you wish to submit an appeal please go to a Customer Services desk on campus and staff will support you through the process.

If you have not yet received your CAS, please check your inbox and spam folders as well as the Applicant Portal for updates on how to meet your remaining CAS conditions. If you have used an agent to support you with your application, please speak with them directly for an update on the progress of your application. The university is unable to issue a CAS until you have met all the conditions of your offer. This may include completing sufficient finance checks and interviews. If the university systems state that your CAS has been issued but you have not received it, please speak to your agent directly.

Information on when to attend a Right to Study check is available for each of our campus locations on our website, including details on what documents to bring.

If you do not bring/send the documents listed we will be unable to complete the Right to Study check and this will delay the completion of your enrolment.

For international fee payers, you are required to have paid a minimum of £8,000 or the full course fee if less than £8,000 or from regions outlined in section 6a of our tuition fee and refund terms and conditions, to complete Enrolment each year.

The payment requirements for the Confirmation of the Acceptance of Studies (CAS) letter are as follows:

• European Union, Sub Saharan and Northern Africa (excluding Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya) - £4,000.00
• Pakistan, Bangladesh, India (Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana) - Full tuition fees charged for the first year of your course
• All other countries (including Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya) - £8,000.00.

If you are being sponsored by your employer or a government sponsor, you need to provide an approved financial guarantee/sponsorship letter confirming your fees are being paid by them. Please email your sponsor letter to debtenq.fin@coventry.ac.uk who will need to approve before you can enrol.

To make sure your payments are secure, you should make your payments to us through Convera GlobalPay. This allows you or your parents to pay for fees online via debit/credit card or by bank transfer in the currency of your choice, giving you a simple, quick and secure way to initiate the payment. You’ll see exactly how much you will pay in your own currency and you will be able to track your payment every step of the way.

Please allow at least 10 working days for your payment to reach us as processing times may be longer for certain countries such as Nigeria. All funds must be cleared into the university’s bank account, we cannot accept payment receipts/proof of payment to enrol.

If you notice an error or need another amendment to your CAS, please contact CASissued.io@coventry.ac.uk as soon as possible.

You can only collect your ID card after you have enrolled.

If you are studying at CU Coventry you can collect your student ID in person from the Reception, Mile Lane.

If you are studying at CU London (Greenwich) you can collect your student ID from the Customer Service Desk on level 2.

If you are studying at CU London (Dagenham) you can collect your student ID from the Customer Service Desk.

If you are studying at CU Scarborough you can collect your student ID from the Customer Service Desk. 

If you are studying at Coventry University Wrocław please visit the Customer Service Team on campus collect your student ID card in person Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm.

You will need to bring accepted proof of identity and nationality.
