More students affected by GSM London’s closure will now be able to continue their studies through CU London, part of the Coventry University Group, after it successfully acquired premises in Greenwich.

CU London’s Greenwich campus will be based at Meridian House, the former GSM London campus. Former GSM students will now be able to study at CU London’s own campus in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, or at Meridian House where possible.

We knew we had to help these students when the news of GSM’s administration emerged, so we initially gave them the chance to continue their studies at our own campus.

However, this would have limited the number of students we could have realistically supported.

So we’re very pleased that we have been able to negotiate a licence for part of Meridian House. This will give more support to GSM London students during this difficult time.

Andy Ginn, Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor at CU London
