CU London was the headline sponsor of the Barking and Dagenham Chamber of Commerce 2019 Business Awards held at Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club.

Guests arrived on the red carpet to a drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal with entertainment by Jack Blackbourn, Magician and The Base Tones, and an address by Jonathan Sandling, Head of Academic Studies, CU London, before counting down to the Awards Ceremony.

Some 200 people from the local business community attended the black tie celebration of business success, which saw CU London present the top award to the overall Barking and Dagenham Chamber of Commerce Business of the year 2019 - won this year by Online Lubricants.

CU London is proud to be the main sponsor of this event, which honours the Barking and Dagenham business community for the incredible work they do and being the backbone of our local economy.

Hearing some of the success stories happening right on our doorstep was eye opening and I would like to congratulate all of the award winners and nominees.

I am sure that our CU London students will go on to leave their mark on Barking and Dagenham businesses in years to come.
