Graduation at CU Coventry

Graduation at CU Coventry

Upon completing your course at CU Coventry you'll be able to attend a graduation ceremony. Graduation is one of the highlights of a student's time at university, and family and friends are encouraged to join the celebrations.

Every year, the ceremony is created to ensure a truly stunning occasion and a lasting memory.

It's always been our intention to be able to celebrate the great achievements of our students in person. We know how important this is to you and your loved ones, as it means a great deal to us too. Holding virtual celebration events was a way to mark the academic achievements of our recent graduates during the pandemic, but now we are able to celebrate in person.

We're excited to be able to share the dates of in person celebration events for those students who have already graduated ‘in absentia’, and to confirm the dates of upcoming formal graduations which we are hoping to resume as normal, subject to any restrictions nearer the time.

9 Sept | Graduation celebration events

Please note: these events are for students who have already graduated ‘in absentia’.

Graduation celebration events are for students whose graduation was held online between April 2020 and April 2021. They are not for students who completed their course in 2021, who will graduate later this year as planned. The next CU Coventry event will be on Thursday 9 September, 2021.

22 Nov | Formal graduations

We hope to host the following graduation events for students who are due to graduate in the Autumn 2021 period. The next CU Coventry graduation event will be Monday 22 November.

Please look out for more information from the graduation team to your university email account in due course, which will include a link to register.

We’re pleased to be able to share this news and mark these special occasions. We're currently working through plans and will be in touch to share the details of the celebration events and what they will entail.

If you are awarded in September, your certificate will be posted by the end of November, to the correspondence address on your student record.

You can check the address we hold for you by logging onto SOLAR. There is an option to set your correspondence address to the same as your home or term address or a different address entirely. This applies to all our students studying at all of our campuses.

Please note that these arrangements are subject to government guidance and requirements. More details will follow so please keep your university email account active so that you can receive updates and the link to register.
We are encouraging all our recent and upcoming graduates to register as a part of our alumni community; this allows you to keep your university email account and will help us to keep in touch with you to share exciting news about these and other events.
