Informed by the academic and professional disciplines of ergonomics, human factors and psychology, this 100% online Human Factors in Aviation MSc degree is ideal for those working within the aviation or aerospace industry and/or for those who wish to gain in-depth knowledge about human factors in specialist areas.

Fees and funding

MSc: 25/26: £10,000 (180 credits). 26/27 (September 2026 onwards): £10,440 (180 credits).

Our tuition fees are calculated for the entire duration of the programme. You also have the option to pay fees by credit hour, rather than making a full upfront payment. A variety of payment options exist including instalments through the duration of the programme.

Fee terms

Our tuition fees are calculated for the entire duration of the programme. A variety of flexible payment options are available, including the option to pay per module, rather than paying the full course fee up front.

Fees will be reviewed annually, however, any increase will be no more than 5 per cent above inflation. If you defer your course start date or must extend your studies beyond the normal duration of the course (e.g. to repeat a year or resit examinations) the University reserves the right to charge you fees at a higher rate and/or in accordance with any legislative changes during the additional period of study.

Tuition fees cover the cost of your teaching, assessments, facilities and support services. There may be additional costs not covered by this fee such as re-assessments should you need them.
