Our Open Events are the perfect opportunity to explore our campus, meet our tutors and current students, and learn more about the support available to help you succeed. These events are open to school/sixth form students and adult learners.

What to expect on the day

Chat to our teaching staff and discover more about our professionally focused, vocational courses. You’ll learn one subject in depth at a time, and be assessed as you progress, meaning no end-of-year exams

If you’re unsure which course is right for you, we’ll help you explore your options. And if you already have a career goal in mind, we’ll guide you towards the course that best supports your ambitions and future success.

Help with public transport travel costs

We believe everyone should have the chance to attend Open Events. That's why we offer financial support to help cover your public transport travel costs and ensure you can join us.

How and when can I claim?

At the Open Event, scan the QR code at the event help desk in the main reception area. This will give you access to an online form to upload your public transport proof of purchase and make your claim. If you came by bicycle (unlocked) take a photo of your bicycle on campus when you arrive and upload this to the online form.

Should you have trouble scanning the QR code please use this form. Please note that all claims are checked to ensure that the individual checked in at a CU London Dagenham Open Event.

After completing the form, you'll receive a secure weblink to Convera, a money transfer service. You'll have 10 business days to enter your bank details on the Convera form. Once completed successfully, your funds will be transferred to your bank account within a further 10 business days.
