MBA Oil and Gas Management and MBA Global Business students recently visited The Crystal, a sustainable cities initiative by Siemens, as part of an educational tour.

Home to the world's largest exhibition The Crystal showcases global trends and challenges, alongside existing technological solutions to build environmentally sustainable, liveable and prosperous cities.

Students experienced first-hand a range of pioneering solutions and innovative technologies that drive future trends for a more sustainable world. The tour boosted students’ knowledge as they were informed of how they can contribute to sustainable living.

Oil and Gas students also took part in a guest lecture as part of the sixth Oil and Gas speaker series at the London Campus. The lecture was delivered by Philip Steele, founder of nCube, titled 'The Energy Saving Smart Home System'.

nCube is a next generation automated Smart Home platform that gives users control of all electrical hot water, including security & safety devices in a single integrated consistent experience to save energy costs.
