Coventry University London Campus celebrated the achievements of the second cohort of High Flyer students this July.

Now in its second year, the High Flyers programme is an initiative of the London Campus offering additional training to pr-active students who want to enhance their academic experience and improve their employment prospects.

Throughout the programme, students were mentored by entrepreneurs, received skills training and raised their personal profiles.

High Flyer participant Aisha said:

"The High Flyers' Programme has been remarkable by encouraging me to reflect on how I think, feel and act, specifically in the business environment. This is something I do not usually do, yet is crucial and highly valuable at this stage of my Business degree and career."

17 postgraduate students delivered individual presentations throughout the celebration summing up their thoughts on the programme. All students were awarded certificates by London Campus CEO Janet Hannah.

Gareth Lewis Business Development Manager said:

"The High Flyers programme has been developed in response to employer feedback on graduates. It aims to develop students in three key areas: Self-awareness, Self-promotion and Business Awareness. The Programme is in addition to and complements their academic learning. The High Flyers project team are all immensely proud of the High Flyers students and look forward to working with the nex cohort. "

Last night's celebration event was the culmination of all of the High Flyers hard work and learning in which all 17 participating students had the opportunity to present the impact the programme has had on them to an audience which included staff and students.
