Thursday 01 February 2018
Alongside your academic studies at Coventry University London, we also provide a range of ways in which to help you secure employment at the end of your study. Coventry University London recently held the first Employability Week on campus, organised by Senior Lecturer Yvonne Browne and Careers Advisor Caroline Miller.
Employability Week hosted a range of experts and employers from a wide variety of fields, including marketing, human resources, and the financial sector. Also organised were visits to companies, with students enjoying their time at Metro Bank. One student even said that, after visiting Metro Bank, they now plan on seeking a career in banking.
Students also attended various workshops on campus, including exciting sessions based around professional networking and starting your own business. One student described these as being very inspiring.
Coventry University London looks forward to holding more events like Employability Week in the future.
