The latest cohort of students from Coventry University London Campus High Flyers programme attended various networking events this March.

Dressed in smart business attire eight of the cohort’s eleven students attended The Docklands Business Awards held at The Tower Hotel overlooking the iconic Tower Bridge. The ‘black tie’ awards evening and dinner was the students’ chance to put the training they had received in effective business networking into practice in a real business networking environment.

The other three High Flyers opted to attend the East London Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Time to Talk Business’ event at the Radisson Hotel in Canary Wharf.

High Flyers is an initiative of the London Campus offering additional training to pro-active students who want to enhance their academic experience and improve their employment prospects.

Throughout the programme students are mentored by entrepreneurs, receive skills training and raise their personal profiles. Effective business networking is an essential part of the High Flyers Programme and provides the students with an insight into British business.
