Fashion week hits the London Campus

As London Fashion Week captivates the capital, the London Campus has also arranged for a number of events to be held for Fashion Students.

MBA and MSc Fashion students at the London Campus also had the opportunity to visit Paris ahead of the commencement of London Fashion week. Amongst various activities on the agenda for the trip, students had the opportunity to visit and be inspired by the Première Vision event.

In addition to this, celebrity Fashion photographer Ram Shergill also visited the Campus on 23rd February and gave a talk on ‘Realising trend ideas in Fashion story telling for fashion brands and publications. Shergill is a highly successful photographer and his clients have included Vogue, Galeries Lafayette and Harper’s Bazaar.

Lastly, Teaching Fellow Nathaniel Dafydd Beard set up an exhibition which is presented outside the Fashion Studio. The Exhibition, entitled Formatting Fashion: Thinking, Writing, Making, Speaking & Exhibiting is an exhibition presented on Fashion Research. As part of this event, a ‘Talk/In-Conversation’ with Beard was open to London Campus staff as well as MSc and MBA Fashion Students. It is the first exhibition in a series of events to present the research and fashion industry-related projects of the Fashion Academic Team at Coventry University London Campus. The exhibition is running from 27th January – 29th February 2016.
