London Campus students celebrate Holi

In a colourful display of international culture, London Campus students celebrated the Indian festival of Holika Dahan at the university on Thursday 24th March.

To commemorate the start of spring, Holi is best known as the festival of colours or sharing love. It is best known for the colourful play fights which erupt where participants chase each other with vibrant powders.

At the London Campus a colourful powder play fight took place on the steps of the entrance into the Campus in which students from all nationalities participated.

MBA Global Business Management student, Ankit Goyal said:

“The best part about celebrating Holi at Coventry University London Campus is that not everyone knows a lot about this festival. Students have found out more information about what Holi signified whilst also playing and participating in the celebration.”

Last month the university celebrated Chinese New Year which culminated in a university wide celebration ceremony which involved musical performances and a fashion show for students and staff. The London Campus looks forward to more vibrant displays of culture throughout the year.
