Banking simulation takes place in Belgium

Students studying BA Global Business Management travelled to Leuven in Belgium as part of an international field trip for their business week. The aim of the trip was to allow students to collaborate with other students from different nationalities and universities and to take part in a banking simulation.

In addition to the business week, students were able to take part in extra-curricular activities including a visit to Bruges, ice skating, a gala night as well as a visit to the very famous Stella Artois Brewery.

Student Jobelle Layugan said:

‘The banking simulation allowed me to apply the knowledge that I have acquired at University. I had the opportunity to listen to guest lectures from different finance professionals which gave me a good outlook on what it is like to work in the industry; it was so interesting to learn about Crowdfunding which is a popular finance method for start-up businesses’.
