Two researchers from Coventry University London Campus, Kalliopi Konsolaki and S M A Moin attended the conference to present their papers and share their ideas and research interests with established academics and new PhD researchers.

Kalliopi presented her work within the Consumer Behaviour track; her paper was entitled “Two negative effects of comparative advertising”. Moin presented his work within the Services & Customer Relationship Marketing track; his paper was co-authored with his PhD Supervisors Professor James Devlin and Dr Sally McKechnie and entitled “Operationalising Interdisciplinary Perspectives of Trust: Development of measurement scales for interdisciplinary trust constructs”.

With a theme of “Radical Marketing”, the 49th Academy of Marketing Conference attracted the brightest minds from all over the world at Northumbria University Newcastle in July 2016.  The annual conference of the Academy of Marketing brings together some of the best research ideas and the latest research findings in contemporary marketing, builds on traditional and current marketing theories, and frequently introduces practices that are breaking completely new ground.
