Ankit Chandarana a final year BA Global Business Management student at the London Campus has spoken about his opportunity and success as a Student Ambassador for Bloomberg.

One year on from being selected as a Bloomberg Institute Ambassador by Business Development Manager Melissa Mictchell, Ankit has achieved many sucesses role and has progressed to an Ambassador Team Leader for Bloomberg where he manages students from universities across Europe.

Speaking about his experience Ankit has said "it's not like university where you revolve around assignments teaching and lectures. In the back of your head, you've got targets and responsibilities. You need to make connections with teachers, students and the careers teams within universities to ultimately promote Bloomberg and market it successfully".

Managing students across Europe with different cultures and approaches has meant that Ankit has had to adapt his own marketing technique to suit the styles of different cultures. He has faced a recent challenge in dealing with the tragedy in Paris. "I've had to adapt our strategy and provide more care for the students after the tragedy that they had faced".

Over the duration of a year Ankit has been pushing for undergraduates at Coventry University London Campus to have the opportunity to use the BMC software on the Trading Floor and gain the full advantages that life on the London Campus can bring. Successfully achieving the backing of the Academic team, Ankit has been able to achieve this target and currently thirty students have had the opportunity to use the BMC software and unlock their full potential.

After graduation Ankit is hoping to pursue a Masters and and has a strong interest in Investment Banking. We have no doubt of his future success at Coventry University London Campus.
