Coventry University London Campus were proud to hold its November Graduation Ceremony at the Guildhall this year. The ceremony itself took place in the Great Hall, which stunned guests with its magnificent décor and rich history.

Among those graduating was Malaysian star Joey Leong, who studied Global Business at the London Campus. She treated her fans to a Facebook live stream for parts of the ceremony, and treated guests of the Graduation Ball to a live performance to celebrate the day. The day also saw East End entrepreneur Gary Beckwith receive an honorary doctorate of business administration in recognition of his significant contribution to the business world.

A further two awards were given to select students by robemakers Ede & Ravenscroft. The awards are presented to outstanding students on the basis of overall academic excellence along with a cash prize. Kamila Laszek and Karen Lugun won awards for Best Undergraduate Student 2016 and Best Postgraduate Student 2016.

This year was also the first time that students had the opportunity to attend a Graduation Ball which took place beneath the Great Hall, in the Crypts. This amazing space is the oldest part of the Guildhall and made for a breath-taking location for our graduates to celebrate their fantastic achievements.
