Here’s five reasons CU Coventry could be the perfect choice for you.

1

Enhance your career prospects

Whether you are new to higher education or are returning to study, our vocational courses are designed to boost your employability. Each course focuses on offering career-relevant experiences to prepare you for your future ventures. Whether you choose to study towards a degree or simply want to master a specific skill or gain a specific qualification, our non-traditional further education will prepare you for your chosen career.

Our employability team are also on hand from the day you arrive at CU Coventry until beyond graduation. They can support you with securing a placement, interview preparation, enhancing your CV and more.

2

Fits into your life

From family life to work responsibilities, we understand that our students live busy lives. Here at CU Coventry, we offer structured timetables that enable you to plan ahead and give you the confidence to fit your studies into your personal commitments.

3

Different degree experience

Unlike the traditional university experience, CU Coventry gives you alternative assessment methods to help you showcase your ability in a way that works for you. Many courses are assessed via coursework or practical examinations throughout the year so you can gain a regular understanding of how you are progressing.

Our courses are taught in small class sizes (less than 50) in order to help you enhance your learning. With structured timetables designed to minimise your time on-site, our career-focused courses enable you to learn one subject at a time in a supportive environment.

We have a strong focus on student support as we know that getting back into higher education after a break or juggling both education and personal life may not be as easy, so we provide a number of support options that will help you ease your path into education.

4

Gain a Coventry University degree

Here at CU Coventry, we offer professionally accredited courses awarded by Coventry University. Therefore, CU Coventry has a strong track record of working with industry partners, which means that you will have access to a wide range of industry-relevant opportunities and resources, such as internships, placements, and networking opportunities, which can help you build your professional networks and increase your chances of finding employment after graduation.
