A proposed collaboration between Coventry University Poland Campus in Wrocław (CUW) and GlobalLogic Poland could see a number of new ways of working introduced aimed at increasing student employability and exploring research opportunities.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed to discuss the possibility of GlobalLogic, a leader in the digital engineering services industry, mentoring student dissertation projects, providing internship opportunities and share its business and industry expertise, helping to increase employability.

As CUW continues its strategy of academic and business development, the recently signed MoU builds on previous shared activities and strengthens the co-operation between the two entities.

This is not our first activity in co-operation with Coventry University Wrocław. Earlier this year, Cyber Security and Computer Science students took part in a two-day training course led by GlobalLogic's expert Marcin Kasprzyk. During the visit, they learned about strategies and tools used to combat cyber threats, gained insight into popular security vulnerabilities in IoT devices, and explored the fascinating field of post-quantum cryptography. I'm pleased that our co-operation is growing and GlobalLogic can support the education of Polish students at an international level.

The MoU with GlobalLogic is a response to market and scientific demand, as well as a potential opportunity for many Polish students to gain unique knowledge and competences in creating cutting-edge products and digital experiences for various brands around the world.

The MoU, which has just been signed, is aimed at establishing the basis for co-operation in areas such as the creation and implementation of research and educational projects at the national and international level, consultation, scientific or innovation and implementation activities. The proposed collaboration will enable the students to benefit from mentoring and support in the implementation of these at all stages of their studies, as well as opportunities for internships and apprenticeships with GlobalLogic. We also plan to hold competitions for students, jointly organise lectures, seminars and optional classes, as well as collaborate in the work of scientific circles at the university and support academic activity.
