Magi Hoppitt

Mgi is the Chief People Officer and an executive member of the Group Senior Leadership Team. She is accountable for developing and delivering the People Strategy in support of the Group’s 2030 Strategy.

She is also Chief Executive Officer for Peoples Future Ltd, the Group’s employment company, which also includes our recruitment agency, the Futureworks.

Magi is responsible for all workforce matters and the provision of the full range of Employment, HR and Organisational Development services for each of the employers within the Coventry University Group. She is also the employment lead for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and employee wellbeing and sits on a range of Board and Group committees.

She joined the University in 2007 and is an experienced HR practitioner and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, with more than 30 years HR and OD experience, gained in both public and private sector organisations.
