Coventry University is enhancing its research excellence and building research capability in a number of areas including Manufacturing and Materials Engineering. Our research strategy is underpinned by an investment of £100 million in research, with a total spend of £150 million on our estate and facilities. These investments will enable our academics to apply fresh and original approaches to key research challenges, to inform their teaching and provide opportunities for postgraduate students to participate in major research projects.

A key element of our commitment to developing research is to enhance and increase the number of PhD studentships. We are therefore investing in our doctoral researchers and the university is currently offering over 100 fully-funded studentships to outstanding applicants.

Alongside this, MME are looking to offer part-funded, self-funded and industry-funded studentships for those wanting to work on a pre-defined research project in the areas of manufacturing and materials engineering. To discuss options open to you please email admissions.ec@coventry.ac.uk.
