Description 

Colombo Institute of Research and Psychology (CIRP) is a Higher Education Institute in collaboration with Coventry University in Sri Lanka committed to provide leading education in the field of Psychology.

The academic division of CIRP consists of School of Psychology, School of Applied Science, School of Languages & Arts, Institute of Post Graduate Studies, Institute of Child development and CIRP edu, the London AL section. The organisation accommodates for around 500 students and provides excellent support and teaching in a dynamic learning environment.

Coventry University and Colombo Institute of Research and Psychology provide the opportunity for students to gain a degree award from both institutions.

General PG entry requirements 

A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from an accepted university or institution, or a professional qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.

Individuals who possess a degree in a different discipline must hold at least 120 credits in level 5 psychology are also eligible to enrol.

Postgraduate programmes available as:

  • FT 1 year
  • PT 2 years


General UG entry requirements 

A-Levels: A-Level applicants are required to have three
 A2 Levels. See course pages for any specific A-Level requirements. To see if any equivalents are accepted, please contact the admissions office directly. 
 

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DDM
 

Access: The Access Diploma in a Science or Health subject to include 30 Level 3 credits at Distinction. Plus GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade A*-C, or specified equivalents
 

International Baccalaureate Diploma: 31 points to include 15 points at Higher level
