What is Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)?
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is the fantastic way we, at Coventry University, can interact with other international universities and professional institutions. Included within our curriculum, these opportunities provide you with valuable experience working with others from different cultures and countries, helping to develop your digital skills and your intercultural competency.
COIL Projects can be worked on in ‘real-time’ with students from other countries, allowing you to work collaboratively on focused activities. Alternatively, they can also be worked ‘asynchronously’, meaning students can work together at different times, allowing you to work with individuals from countries where time zones don’t overlap.
