Important Announcement: Cladding

None of the University’s owned or managed residence blocks have a similar design of external thermal cladding as Grenfell Tower. All our buildings were developed in collaboration with fire engineering consultants and are compliant with regulations in force at the time of construction. Our buildings are regularly inspected by West Midlands Fire Service and each has full fire risk assessments in place which are reviewed annually. We also carry out regular electrical testing and checks to ensure all soft furnishings are fire retardant.

The University has a varied selection of accommodation options available for you to choose from, including University Owned properties, Managed and Partnership properties. You can use our  accommodation map to find out more about the location of each property, or take a look at each property information page.
