At Coventry Law School we are looking to provide you with a range of innovative courses that will equip you for your future career.
Law has been taught at Coventry University for nearly fifty years and we pride ourselves on the good relationship we have with our students and in providing friendly, accessible staff that will support and guide you through your studies.
Both our undergraduate and postgraduate courses reflect our expertise in specialist areas of law, such as business law and international law, and our practical experience.
Students have access to our Moot Room, which provides students with the opportunity experience a modern courtroom within an academic environment. Our prestigious annual Mooting competition utilises this facility allowing students to develop their advocacy skills in a mock appeal.
Let us not forget that all of our undergraduate courses are designed to enable you to take an additional optional year either on placement, in the UK or abroad, or on a study year abroad.
Students are encouraged to put their studies into practice through their own Law Clinic: Coventry Legal Advice Service (CLAS), as we place emphasis on practical skills such as advocacy, interviewing and negotiation.
At postgraduate level our taught LLMs in International Business Law and International Law are very popular, attracting students from all over the world.
We have very strong links with local firms who support us by offering placements, sponsoring our mooting and negotiation competitions and by working with us on campus and in the city centre.
