Living Costs in the UK

As well as booking your accommodation, you will also need to arrange your finances before you arrive at University. It is vital that you have sufficient funding in place before commencing a course of study, this will need to cover your tuition fees, accommodation, books, stationary, food and of course social costs.

Below is an approximate guide to the minimum amount you should expect for living expenses in the UK per month. These costs are for one person only and students with children and dependants should keep this in mind when working out a budget.
