Coventry University is offering a unique opportunity to come and see how the UK healthcare system works and work alongside our highly qualified healthcare professionals at the University and with our NHS partners. We will be providing practical experiences of specialist healthcare settings, engagement with expert teaching staff and access to our excellent learning facilities including a newly built £60 million Science and Health Building. At 120,000 sq ft, extending over five floors this building has state of the art facilities for simulation of hospital, home, rehabilitation, clinical skills training.

Whether you are studying to be a healthcare professional or a recent graduate, exploring study abroad or just want to expand your horizons this exciting programme is designed for you. This is an ideal opportunity for you to showcase this experience in your CV and take the knowledge that you gain at the summer school with you to any future recruitment process. You will gain valuable experience to enhance your own practice and to share this with your peers and other professionals on your return home.

The School of Health is nationally recognised for the high quality of its provision of pre-registration and post-qualifying professional courses in nursing, midwifery, paramedic science, operating department practice, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and dietetics. We have strong partnerships with our NHS partners, local authority services and independent, voluntary health and social care organisations. It’s no surprise our courses in Nursing and Midwifery feature in the Guardian League Table’s top 10, with Food Science (Dietetics) in the top 6 and Physiotherapy 9th in the Complete University Guide.
