This introductory course is for students who are considering undertaking an MRES or a PhD qualification, or are considering a future career in research. The summer school will introduce you to the essential skills and competences you will need on your journey to become a researcher in the globalised world. The school focusses on networking skills, intercultural competences and presentation skills and you will discover how to create research posters – an essential for conferences, symposia and networking events.
In addition to in-class teaching and development activities, there will be opportunities to network and discuss research degrees with staff and students from across the areas of Coventry University’s expertise.

As the programme is delivered in English, you will require a good level of English speaking, reading and writing skills. You must also be aged 18 or above.
